Moment spare water purifier (2024), designed by @Taeyeon_Kim.
The kitchen, once a purely functional space, has evolved into a central hub for relaxation and connection, where people gather to read, converse, and unwind. Yet, achieving true relaxation in a familiar setting can be challenging. This insight inspired the creation of a water purifier that transforms the everyday kitchen into an oasis of leisure, akin to the unique and refreshing experiences of travel.
Drawing from the delight of vacations and the warm gesture of welcome drinks at accommodations, this water purifier brings a touch of elegance and specialness to the act of drinking water. Its design is inspired by the aesthetic of a cocktail, with a subtly tilted exterior that mimics the act of offering a glass. The round faucet adds a playful yet refined element, reminiscent of the decorative fruit in a cocktail glass.
The purifier’s clean design features straight-line patterns that evoke a refreshing, sophisticated atmosphere. Its functionality is equally thoughtful, with intuitive features seamlessly integrated into the design. The top panel includes touch buttons for water dispensing, purification, cold and hot water, and filter replacement, alongside an LED display for the dispensing amount. The dispensing button is indented for ergonomic ease, while the hidden LED lighting maintains a minimalist and elegant ambiance when the purifier is not in use.
More than just a kitchen appliance, this water purifier is a statement piece, offering a sense of luxury and relaxation. It transforms a daily routine into a moment of indulgence, much like savoring a cocktail during a memorable vacation.
