What if Oakley and Meta joined forces to create the next generation of snowsports gear? Apex Vision explores that idea through a fully integrated AR helmet and goggle system designed to make every run safer, smarter, and more immersive.

Digital routes are projected directly onto the snow, allowing riders to navigate without looking away from the terrain. A built-in fall detection system can automatically share the rider’s live location with emergency responders, while hands-free voice commands and a single glove-friendly button make capturing moments, tracking performance, and accessing navigation effortless, even in extreme conditions.

Developed over fourteen weeks, the project evolved from early thumbnail sketches to Vizcom explorations, CAD development, and fully realized 3D-printed scale models. It is a thoughtful vision of how augmented reality and wearable technology could reshape the future of mountain sports while keeping the focus on the riding experience.
