Living Optics Hyperspectral Camera — designing for a new way of seeing. 👁️📷

What if a camera could see beyond the information captured by a conventional RGB sensor? Living Optics’ hyperspectral camera records 96 data points per pixel, capturing spectral information that can reveal properties such as the material an object is made from.

Developed by Pentagram, its distinctive L-shaped form comes directly from the underlying optics, creating a recognizable design language that can adapt as the technology evolves. CNC-machined anodised aluminium completes the connection between camera hardware and computing equipment.
